UOT is a Brisbane based company and is partnered with and licenced by renowned world leader company in boronising technology, BorTec GmbH, with operations in Germany and North America. We develop and manufacture Bordure™ Alloy (surface boronised materials) for oil and gas, agriculture, mining, automotive, mechanical systems, manufacturing, aerospace, and defence sectors. Our state-of-the-art facility in Rocklea, QLD is capable of producing 2 km a day of boronised tubings; that is the largest facility in the world.

Our Quality
At UOT, Quality is the fundamental element of our business and we are committed to be compliant to Australian and international quality industry standards in the boronizing technology. We are certified according to ISO 9001:2015 .
The quality of our products is monitored throughout the manufacturing process employing metallurgical, mechanical, dimensional, and visual examinations. The focus is placed on metallurgical analysis whereby the thickness and morphology of the boronised layer is checked for samples from each heat treatment batch and finally archived in the system for traceability. However, United Oil Tools conducts mechanical and dimensional tests according to the components’ specific standards to ensure the perseverance of required properties following the boronising process

The newly built metallurgical laboratory will ensure the BordureTM products are being quality checked right after manufacturing on a continuous basis. All our products come with a warrantee.
