Stress Reliving
The heat-treating process that consists of heating the steel to a temperature below the critical range called Stress Relieving and it is intended to eliminate internal residual stress like machining, cold rolling, and welding. The Stress Relieving does not modify the material structure or mechanical properties. Stress Relief treatment can be completed to customer specification or it can be done to the industry standards like AS4458-1997.
